#471 - 1--JLynne--R47S: A Sharp, a Flat, and the BEST POST-IDOL Performances:100-75--2008-07-29 15:40:12
#Most lists focus on performances on the show, this list is all about what our Idols have done since. Check out the first 25 of 100 dynamic performances by your favorites and the most forgotten!
- Rank for Seven Seasons:
Surprising, amazing, shocking, possibly hilarious. These are all valid words to describe some of the best post-idol performances! Most, you probably haven’t seen. Catch up with your favorite idols and your forgotten idols! They will never cease to surprise you with instruments you didn’t know they played, and vocals you didn’t know they were capable of pulling out. I had a blast making this list, and I hope that you have a blast looking at these performances!
Because there are a freaking hundred performances on my list, I am dividing these articles into sections!
THE LIST 100-75:
100.
Camile Velasco (Season 3): “No One”: In her bedroom: Yes, I said her bedroom, but the acoustics are really, really good in there, okay? Yes, Camile and Leah LaBelle, if you remember them, have resorted to taping themselves in their bedrooms. The good part of this is, both of them, with their unique tones, have grown tremendously as vocalists and these are actually pretty great to watch.
Check it out: No One
99.
Leah LaBelle(Season 3): “Final Bow”: In her bedroom: Ya heard me, their bedrooms. Well, Leah might actually be in some sort of office, but man, Leah always had nice things going, as did Camile. But neither of them were stand out performers, and neither of them could really carry their voice onto the big stage. I bet they both could now….
Check it out: Final Bow
98.
Jasmine Trias(Season 3): “Duet w/ South of the Border”: Tour: She has some nice runs in her, and it works for her tone, and she’s also performing really well. Worth a watch.
Check it out: Jasmine Trias
97.
Charles Grigsby (Season 2): “Amazing Grace”: Tabernacle Church: Fast forward past his long talk he gives to the audience, and get to his singing. It’s pretty good!
Check it out: Amazing Grace
96.
Kim Caldwell(Season 2): “Keep Me Making Love To You”:Concert: Never my favorite vocalist, Kim does have a dynamic tone that really works for her on songs like this.
Check it out: Keep Me Making Love To You
95.
Josh Gracin(Season 3): “Keep Comin Back & More”: Regis & Kelly: Josh has had an extremely successful career after Idol in the country music industry, this is why….
Check it out: Keep Coming Back
94.
Sabrina Sloan (Season 6): “Easy as Life”: Broadway Katrina Benefit: Not the clearest video, but Sabrina is one of the most talented people not to make the top 12, we gotta keep up with her!!!
Check it out: Easy as Life
93.
Chris Richardson &Jordin(Season 6): “No Air”: Tour: This is hilarious. Chris R and Jordin throw this together at a benefit Jordin was having and Chris doesn’t even know all the words.
Check it out: No Air
92.
Jasmine Trias(Season 2): “If I Aint Got You”(playing piano): Tour: Pitchy as always, heehee, but Jordin starts off on the piano and than does a duet of the song.
Check it out: If I Aint Got You
91.
Kelly Clarkson(Season 1): “National Anthem”:NFL: Kelly singing a big old song, what do you expect?

Leah LaBelle(Season 3): “Ride For You”: In her bedroom: Again, in her bedroom, but the girl really has improved her vocals, and she’s gorgeous.
Check it out: Ride For You
87.
RJ Helton(Season 1): “Missing Me”: Sound Check: He really is extremely underrated. I found a few performances of him post-idol at one concert he was kind of sick, but this one he sounds just fine.

Ruben Studdard (Season 2): “I Need an Angel/Flying”: Concert: I’m trying to be really unbiased as I’m not the biggest Ruben fan, here’s him singing live!

77.
Ramiele Malubay (Season 7): “Filipino National Anthem”: Dressing Room: She’s headed to the Philipines to start her career there. As we’ve seen, it’s worked for Jasmine, and this song is proof that Ramiele will be just fine!
